Trees of Hope

Banner

In 2021-22, we celebrated a greener and merrier Christmas through Trees of Hope initiative. Christmas trees made from recycled wood and discarded flex were installed at five of our campuses. After the exhibition, the material used to make the trees were repurposed into utility products for the underprivileged. We encouraged our visitors to post a picture with the trees on social media and pledged to plant a tree for every picture.

INCLUSION RUN

Nurturing Inclusivity and Good Health

We collaborated with the Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers to organise the Powai Run 2023, a community marathon promoting diversity, inclusivity and equality, under the theme #EmbraceEquity. The event brought together participants from various backgrounds supporting the cause. In addition, The Inclusion Run, held in partnership with the Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation, aimed to support the people with disability community by encouraging corporate leaders to run as allies with visually impaired individuals or individually.

Charting a Greener Path

Our stride toward a sustainable future is illuminated by our latest venture into solar energy. With a sprawling coverage of solar panels across 64% of our square footage, we've turned our rooftops into powerhouses of green energy. The recent initiative at Candor TechSpace New Town-Rajarhat, Kolkata, is a beacon of this progress. In collaboration with a forefront solar rooftop developer, we've embarked on an ambitious journey to harness the sun's vitality. The installation of solar panels with a generation capacity of 7.18 MW over a 25-year horizon is a bold step toward energy autonomy. This project is more than an energy solution; it's a commitment to reduce our carbon footprint significantly, enhancing the environmental health of the communities we serve.

Harmonizing with Nature

At the heart of our architectural philosophy lies a deep-rooted commitment to integrate climate considerations into the design and construction of our properties. Delphi, Ecoworld, and Candor TechSpace Gurugram stand as testaments to this commitment, showcasing how green terraces can revolutionize urban buildings. These eco-friendly spaces not only combat the urban heat island effect, thereby reducing the need for artificial cooling, but also significantly cut down rainwater runoff, aiding in water conservation efforts. The lush terraces offer a tranquil retreat for occupants, enhancing their well-being while also serving as a natural insulator against noise pollution. This innovative approach not only elevates the aesthetic and functional value of our buildings but also contributes to their sustainability and resilience, ensuring they stand the test of time against the elements.
